A lighter game compared to our recent releases, Last Resort is easy to learn and teach, but be warned! Managing a space hotel is hard work — running the same ads as your competitors can result in dangerous malfunctions across your station, from Faulty Airlocks to Stowaways and Gang Hideouts! If that wasn't enough, failing to make space for the ever-growing crowds of tourists on your station may mean you need to eject guests into space — which is bad for them, but even worse for your ratings!
Last Resort is jam packed with all our favourite sci-fi and pop culture references, from Fifth Element to Hitchhiker’s Guide, as well as a healthy dose of dark humour. The game is riddled with hidden easter eggs to delight and surprise as you play, and takes a lot of inspiration from games like Startopia and Rollercoaster Tycoon.

Broadcast an advert each Season to attract tourists from across the galaxy and expand your station! Be careful not to clash with your competitors though, that can have unfortunate consequences for both of you…

The space-cation is over for some of your tourists, so send them home and enjoy counting the stacks of QUID (Quantum Universal Intergalactic Denomination) you’ve earned from their stay!
BUILD
Pay for new attractions with your not-so hard earned QUID, and expand your station! Will you choose to build the relaxing Astro-Cat Cafe or the adrenaline fuelled Phaser Tag arena, or perhaps the Alien Zoo!
ARRIVALS
Once your newest attraction is built you’ll open your airlocks to a whole new batch of tourists, but be careful - if you run out of room you’ll have no choice but to eject them into space! And that’s bad for ratings… (and the tourist, too!)

The winner is the player with the most QUID! QUID is earned from checking out tourists, and from being the best in one of four ‘Prestige’ categories - Thrills, Entertainment, Relaxation and Inspiration.

Once you’re a certified space mogul, why not trying playing with the expansions? Something’s Gone Wrong, Very Important Meeple, Dark Sector and the SOLO 9000 solo mode all add something new to the core game!
